Soulmates: Deadly Encounters

Prologue 

Lightening scattered across the vast expanse of land, the wind howled as dense 

screeching voices echoed through the dead silence of the night.

A figure flung out the back entrance into the woods.

Tears streamed down her pale cheeks as she rushed past the vine trees, leading her 

deeper and deeper within the jungle.

Every bone in her body ached yet she didn't dare to stop for even a split second.

From a distance she could hear the deadly echos hunting her.

Panicking, she dived into a hidden cave, waiting breathlessly as she heard the footsteps 

coming closer and closer.

 She clutched tightly onto her ripped lehenga as she slowly inched deeper within the cave.

She froze on the spot when she heard his voice,

"She's here somewhere. Find her and finish her!!" He barked to his men.

Shivering with fright she shut her eyes tightly awaiting fate, edging backwards.

The masses of fire grew as the firemen entered the area.

Blazing sirens surrounded the area as a large crowd began to gather around the scene.

A young man rushed past the crowd surrounding the figures.

"Sir wait...you can't go there..."

He ignored the man rushing behind him, he ignored everyone and everything around him.

As he reached the spot all that could be seen were pools of blood.

He staggered back unable to believe that all was over...that it all had came to an end.

His heart stopped beating as his eyes examined the deep burnt marks on her body.

Shivering violently, he bent down and held her in his embrace, screaming her name...

He closed his eyes, trying to shun himself away from the unbearable pain when he heard a faint cry.

His gaze immediately followed the cry as a shocked sound of gasp escaped.

His eyes widened at the nearly lifeless figure laying before his eyes, crying out...
